The Heroes of Olympus ;; Son of Neptune

I just finished Son of Neptune, second book in the Heroes of Olympus arc. And it was one of those books where in the last 1OO pages you don't want to read because you don't want it to end, bu at the same time you simply can't put the book down because you NEED to know what happens ;)

I liked the idea of Hazel and Frank also having such important and interesting backgrounds. Because we didn't really get the feeling that Piper and Leo were THAAT important even though we knew Gaea had taken an interest in themfrom the beginning as well. Though, Leo may be a tad bit more interesting now ;)

The entire story line was really interesting, and I have to say, I was really happy to see Percy back. The last book was good, but Jason simply isn't the Percy we all know and love ;)

Anyways, let's look at our new characters, shall we?

HAZEL LEVESQUE ;; I thought she was SUPER sweet, and really caring and kind and amazing, for a daughter of Pluto [though, I love Nico di Angelo, so I might be rather biased]. Haha. I felt so bad for her when we found out about her curse and er history and everything. The way she was cursed because of her mother, and forced to bring up Alcyoneus. And the way she sacrificed herself? That was amazing. She really was inspiring. I felt it rather unfair that she got to come back to life, because personally the wole dead coming back to life thing seems really...weird? Haha, I don't even know the word for it. Maybe it's annoying. I think that's how I feel about it. The thing with Otrero? And Phineas? I mean, thos people died for a REASON, they were annoying the first time around. Now they think they're all higher and mighty-er than ever :P Okay, back to Hazel. I loved the way she was able to control Arion. I wonder if she has Amazon in her future ;) Her love for Frank was so cute. The way shestarted out denying she liked him, and yet kissing him in the end ;] They made a cute couple.

FRANK ZHANG ;; Which leads us right into our little Chinese Roman Candian, now doesn't it? ;) Haha. Frank was a cutie, and I simply COULD NOT see him as a sixteen year old. I tried, very hard. Nope. xD Heheh. But his history was really cool as well. The whole thing with bing able to become whatever he wants? Now, that is one super useful weapon for a demigod! Haha, I lvoed when Frank and Hazel came back from killing Alcyoneus and Percy was standing there all angry at why he couldn't change shape when they were both related to Poseidon//Neptune xP Okay, mars as his dad? WAYY cooler than Ares. Don't get me wrong, I loved Ares, but mars was so chill and laid back and in control and LiTERATE xD Haha, he was a cool dad, in my opinion. Though, I get the feeling Frank would disagree with me :P Frank...supposed to be leader of the mission, and yet he leaves everyting from where to go to how to get there to Percy. I loved Percy...

PERCY JACKSON ;; Percy was so amazing in this book. I loved how well he took to the position of leader with Hazel and Frank. Even after getting his memories wipe and being put to sleep for eight months, he managed to retain his sense of leadership ;) There were some scenes where I just sat there and thought about how amazing he was. Like, when he wa fighting the shades and Hazel had gone for Alcyoneus? After Frank frees Thanatos, he turns to Percy, sees that he needs help, and goes for Hazel anyways. I was just like, that's Percy for you, ready to go down fighting so Frank could save Hazel. And then when Frank and Hazel get ready to leave with lcyoneus and Percy falls over the edge? Just that moment of thinking of how if the roles had been reversed, Percy would definitely have left Alcyoneus and gone to check on his friends. Andthat could be a good or bad thing. On the one side, he is super loyal to his friends and would do anything for them, on the flip side he could one day rik the world for a friend. And then another scene I loved was in the battle in Camp Jupiter when he hasthe eagle and everyone rallies to him? That moment was so awesome. But when he hands it ff to Dakota? It was just like he was saying he knew he was good, he didn't need the eagle to show it off ;) I love this guy <3 And when they all unanimously ame him praetor? I was like, HA. Unlike Jason, he's now leader of BOTH camps ;)

ELLA ;; Haha, she was such a cutie! The way she memorized everything and spit it all out was so cute! I loved her character. haha, and the fact that she has the Syballine books memorized? Now, is it just me, or does that not make her the single coolest photo-memorizeing harpy you hve ever mt in a book? And the way she and Tyson like each other? That was ADORABLE. I loved how she followed Tyson around during the battle ;)

REYNA ;; Reyna was soo cool. I loved the way she held herself and led the Camp as the sole praetor while Jason was MiA. Even though she was strict, as all the Romans were, she had her loose sides. Like wen she talks to Percy in private before he is to leave for their quest? I love how she talks o him about leading the quest and coming back to praetor-ship even though Frank was supposed to be in charge :P And her two dgos, Aurum and Argentum? They were so cool ;) Plus Scipio. Haha, Reyna was a cool leader of Camp Jupiter.

HYLLA ;; Andthen we have Reyna's older sister. Leader of the Amazons. Two completely different paths, and yet they are both leaders. And Hylla was such a chill leader! Like, when she nd Kinzie give Hazel the plan of action by making it sound like a joke and telling her everything at the same time in case someone was listening ;) Plus the way she beat Otrero two nights in a row and then showed up to help save her sister right on time :D

I liked how they would constantly remind us of bad guys Percy faced before because it showed just how many monsters he's beaten and how many different situations he's been through. Like after he falls from the glacier, he calmly tells Hazel and Frank that he's fallen twice that distance before xD

I just simply love this guy....<3

I can't wait for the next one and can't believe Riordin is making us wait an entire YEAR!

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood {{Maes Hughes}}

Maes Hughes was my all time favorite character in FMA. And of course, because of that fact, he simply HAD to die, now didn't he? Though, it was quite depressing in Brotherhood because he died ten episodes early and even though I knew it was coming, it still took me by surprise because it came WAY too early. I loved his character so much. He was always so happy and ready to help. Always went out of his way to aid the Elric brothers. Always went out of his way to help Roy Mustang. And always, ALWAYS went out of his way to be there for little Elisia. When the Elric brothers go back to see Gracia, it was the saddest thing because she was acting so dang strong, telling them they had to keep going, otherwise Hughes' death woulda been for nothing. And then as soon as they leave, she started to cry. It was the sweetest moment ever <3

Maes Hughes was someone I would SO want to have as a brother, husband, father, best friend, ANYTHiNG. Just to have him in my life. And he would be so dang epic as any one of those things. The way Maes was about little baby Elisia was the cutest thing in the entire show. He was such a nice and kind father to her. No matter what was going on in his life, he always had time for her. And he was so proud and loving of her. Always had her picture with him, always had stories to tell about her. He was just always wanting to talk about her. Haha, he was like those young fathers about their first daughters, you know? Always wanting people to know her the way he did. And he was so involved in her upbringing, that he had to be a truly amazing father to her, and a totally helpful hubbie for Gracia. When Maes makes Winry stay with them and they both freakk out over her birthday together? That was simply ADORABLE. And when Winry sees just how awesome a family Maes has, that was simply cute <3

I loved the way he always said he was working, and yet every time you caught him he was goofing off one way or another. and yet, he was still on top of everything. Like, when Roy would ask him a question he would begin his answer in his cutsie little voice and say something about Elisia, then suddenly get his serious deep voice and relay some super importante information.
And then the little mini-clip about how Maes and Roy met way back when they were students at the military acdemy? I absoluely LOVED that! Th way they started out oly knowing each other from afar and competing to see who was the best? And I loved that they bothhad the same ideals on saving the Ishvalan. The way Roy was already defending him against the older students, and then Maes comes on in nd scares them away and they fight together? Haha, and then the three of them get in trouble together for it? And then when it goes to the future in the Ishvalan war and that guy comes out and tries to shoot Roy Mustang? And then Maes pops out and shoots him super fast? That was crazy...I was mad at that Ishvalan for turning my wittle Hughes into a killer... But I was also super proud of my wittle Hughes for saving his buddy so dang quick <3

They were an amazing duo. If Maes had stayed alive, he woulda helped Roy to the end and I bet Roy woulda gotten there faster ;)
I felt his death was more justified in Brotherhood because Roy keeps going at finding the killer. In FMA he just kind of forgets all about his best friend who died for their cause. But in Brotherhood, in that scene with Envy, he just pops it out, and even Edward looked surprised. The way Roy goes into a rage to kill Envy? I know I shouldn't, but I absolutely LOVED that. The fact that Roy cared so much about Maes and their friendship that he couldn't stop until he killed th reason Maes was no longer with them? That got to me, and I absolutely loved and admired Roy for doing it. And if Riza, Scar, and Ed had let him kill Envy, I woulda been totally fine with that. Maes killed tat Ishvalan forRoy, and Roy would have killed Envy for Maes. Would have brought the two friends full circle, if you ask me.

Maes's funeral was one of the saddest moments in the entire anime. The way Elisia was cryig out... "Why are they putting dirt on Daddy? Daddy has to finish his work!" ...That was terribly heart-wrenching. And I was soo dang mad at Wrath when Roy goes to talk to him and asks why he was shaking at the funeral if he didn't care about humans and he replies that he was only shaking because of Elisia's annoying cries. I was so ready to slap his dumb anime face through the computer :P And then when Roy said it was a terrible day for rain and Riza tells him it isn;t raining and he tells her it is. And then he sheds a tear and she agrees that it actually is. That was soo sad! You would never see Roy Mustang cry for anyone else....You know, other than Riza. Tough, if Riza died, he'd probably be in the grave next to her, so there'd be no need for tears :P

Maes Hughes.
Amazing father.
Wonderful husband.
Best friend.
The Best Man in Fullmetal Alchemist//Brotherhod.

Percy Jakson and the Olympians {{Silena Beaurgard}}

So, Silena Beauregard became one of my favorite characters in the last book. Before that, quite honestly, she was simply another camper. But her actions in The Last Olympian set her apart and made me notice her and think about everything she went through and what she did.

She was a daughter of Aphrodite, yet, she was already different because rather than having that too-cool-for-you attitude most Aphrodite girls have, she was kind nd caring and embodied the true characteristics of love. When Percy first cam to camp, he described her as one of the nicer Aphrodite girls.

She gave Percy his first pegasus lesson, and that seems to sweet to me now... She was a clean freak, as we can remember from when she used to be in charge of checking cabins. I loved how she would dock you points for every littl thing ;)

And then her and Beckendorf were the cutest couple in the world. I thought it was adorable how they were together, because it's like an allusion to how Aphrodite and Hephaestus are married ;P Though, Silena and Charlie got along much better than teir parents xD

I didn't really like the idea ofher liking Luke before Beckie because it made her seem more like every other girl we met who fell in love with that guy. I mean, Annabeth, Juniper, AND Silena? He couldn't have been THAAT good looking, right?

Anyways, Luke gets her to be his spy because she liked him at first. Then she stops wanting to be his spy because she relaizes just how evil he really is... But he blacmails her and tells her he'd tell everyone about how she was the spy all along if she didn't continue to aid him.

I felt so bad for her when Beckendorf dies because she knows indirectly it was entirey her fault.

But that turns her around and in the end she knew she had to turn against Luke.

I loved how she wore Clarisse's armor and led the Ares cabin int the Battle of Manhattan. That was just greatt. Ad the way she goes straight for that drakon. I was cheering her on. Though, we all knew it had to be a child of Ares to kill the drakon... When Clarisse comes in and tarts kicking butt, she wa so dang shya-mazing.

I loved their friendship. I mean, two totally unlike girls becoming best friends? Who woulda seen that one?

I was so happy for Silena to have gotten her confession out and off her shoulders before she died. I seriously cried at her death. it was just so sad and heart-wrenching...

She was so brave and passionate and loving and caring and kind and amazing.

She deserved to be in Elysium with her Charlie <3

Teen Titans

So, I was going through an old TT fanfic of mine from a terribly long time ago, and it made me thinkk about that show. Plus the fact that the episode when Cy infiltrates the Brotherhood was on TV the other day ;D
So, I was just thinking about it and felt like making a blog about it....Yeahh, I get bored and do these things xD Anyways, let's get on with this, shall we?

ROBiN ;; This was probably the first time I fell in love with Robin. I never really liked him in Batman ;; The Animated Series for some reason... But anyways, Rob in Teen Titans was so dang awesome. The leader who knows he's cool. My favorite episode for him was the one concerning his little suitcase and how all the bad guys go after it with the race and all? That was HiLARiOUS and I SERiOUSLY wanted to know what was in that dang bag that was so dang important to him :P Maybe it was baby pictures...xP Anyways. Rob and Starfire were the cutest couple in the entire show. No, scratch that. SECOND cutest. Sorry, but I am still a gigantanormous advocate of Kid Flash and Jinx ;) So, anyways, back to Robin. He was so strong and cool and collected. He knew how to lead that team. And he was so dang kind and compassionate. Totally took after Batman. He was amazing. <3

STARFiRE ;; Starfire was my favorite at the very beginning of the show. I don't know what it was about her alien-innocence [though she wasn't very innocent in that first episode :P] that got me to fall in love with her. After her my favorite became Raven, then Terra, and finally Bumble Bee. I was never consistent. But, Starfire will always remain that awesome Tamaranian in my heart. I love how much she cared about her fellow teammates, as well as anyone she met along the way. She simply wanted to help EVERYONE, no matter what the cost to herself. And I loved how she used to cook all that gunky Tamaranian junkk xD Her and Robbie were the cutest. I seriously felt my heart ache for her in the episode when her sister, Blackfire, comes to Earth. I mean, not only was your sister, who you love dearly, trying to frame you for her own crime, but she ALSO tried to steal your boyfriend? I felt so bad for Starfire because it was so difficult for her to see Blackfire was actually playing her and didn't even are about her little sister.

RAVEN ;; Raven probably remained my favorite for the longest amount of time. I loved her power, and I loved her secrecy. I fell in love with her when her father came back because how can you not fall in love with a character who's been hiding the fact that she's going to be the cause of the end of the world form her best friends? And the beginning of those episodes, when she tries to make breakfastt and do all those nice things for them? That was the sweetest thing in the entire world. And when BB gives her the penny for god luckk and she actually holds onto it until the very end? That was so CUTE. She and BB woulda been so adorable as a couple. Raven was so strong for wanting to as much as she could before the time came for what she knew she was created to do. And the episode with the book spirit that tricks her into letting him go? I felt so bad for her because she thought she had finally found someone who she could trust and who understood her completely. And he was playing her the entire time. </3 And the fear episode? I absolutely LOVED that one. The fact that Ray had to ADMiT that she was scared before it would all go away? I absolutely ADORED that. Plus the fact that Rabbie figured it out right away ;) Raven's character was truly amazing and greatly developed. She was amazing, even if she was the silent brooding type ;D

CYBORG ;; Okay, anyone who didn't fall in love with Cy was just iNSANE. I LOVED this guy! He was so hilarious! He and BB made up the entire show's comic relief on their own :P I loved his relationship with BB. Those two were so dang hilarious, with their video games and pizza and all. And Cy's serious side was just as lovable as his chillaxed one. When he infiltrates the Brotherhood with his machine that makes him look human? Just seeing how much he wanted that was just so shweet. I felt so bad for him that he could REALLY go back to that. Cyborg was so cool with inventing everything and just general hilariousness. He was an amazing character. I loved the episode when he went to the past. He was so cool in there with the girl and being human and all. That was shya-mazing. And awesome. Anyways, I don't think I have anything else to say about him so let's move on :P

BEAST BOY ;; It's difficult not to like BB because there simply isn't anything not to like. He was adorable, and there was only one time when he was ever actually serious about anything. And that was at the very end when trying to find Terra. He and Terra were the CUTEST. I fell in love with them right from the start. I felt so bad for him while she was with Slade. And then she she sacrificed herself for them. And then she comes back again. And still they can't be together the way they once were. That relationship was just so strained and tragic. Beast Boy was the main comic relief, and I loved that about him. But he still always wanted to see his friends happy. He was always trying to get Raven to laugh with his jokes. And the few times he actually succeeded were so dang cute <3 I used to think they'd be a cute couple. But then where would Terra be? Haha. The episode when Beast Boy becomes that monster and saves Raven from the other monster and everyone thinks he hurt her? That was so cute because he had actually been trying to save her and all...<3

BUMBLE BEE ;; Yeahh, she was the last I fell in love with. And with good reason. A good spy, and a great leader. Her character was shya-mazing. She was so cool and calm and collected. I loved her when we first met her as a Brtherhood goonie, and I always felt as though there shoulda been more to her character than her bring evil. And so when it turned out she was actually SUPER good and actually a SPY, I was like 'GO BEE.' Haha, that was the best moment ever. Realzing she was GOOD. And the way she and Cy work together to bring down Brother Blood? That was awesome. Though, I felt he shoulda been more taken down by her than by Cy since Cy had just met him while Bee had been working so hard to become the best student and tricking him for so long. Cy was discovered as soon as he got there. Be was there for much longer and subject to so much worse since he used mind control on her. Anyways. Then Cy named her leader of Titans East and I was like YEAHH. She was a really good leader, kept those boys in order. She was awesome and always so happy and glad to help (:

AQUALAD ;; I loved how Starfire and Raven had both fallen in love with him when he was first introduced :P I mean, have you ever seen Raven get heart eyes for anyone? She never has anything but those deep dark eyes. Haha, anyone who can make her go gaga for them must be truly amazing, right? And he sure was. Aqualad was so cool, even if he had one of the smaller roles :P He was so cool when he came to tell them his ocean was in trouble. And then when he became a part of Titans East. He was cool under Bee. He annd Speedy were cute buddies. Aqua-people are always so dang cool with their fish and water powers. Haha, sorry, just had to mention that ;)

SPEEDY ;; Speedy...Hmm. He was pretty cool, wasn't he? I remember the episode with that meta-human brawl thing where the MonkeyMan wanted to take powers from everyone? Speedy was really cool in that episode. Haha. Speedy was a greatt part of the Titans East. Archery always gets me for some reason. i find it to be such an amazing characteristic in the superheroes who do it ;) I prefer Spee-err, Red Arrow in Young Justice to any depiction of Speedy though. Haha. OH, and Speedy's little appearance in that one Justice League Unlimited episode? That was HiLARiOUS xP Him and Green Arrow are probably my favorite mentor//apprentice-sidekick team [other than Batman and Robin] in the world. Not because they work well together, we all know they doo, but because of how dang HiLARiOUS they are together. They need each other to do their best, yet they are always insulting each other :P

MAS Y MENOS ;; Haha, these two were so dang FUNNY. They were such a cute little brother//brother duo. I loved the fact that their power only worked if they were holding hands. That was a major weakness, but at the same time it made them all the more cuter. You could never find one without the other. And they had the same ideas about everything. Like when they both fell in love with Starfire and tried to outdo each other by bringing her better things? That was so dang adorable. Haha. They were o cute. And the one episode when, I forget who, gets them apart so they can't use their powers? Still so dang KE-UUTE. Adorability at it's finest ;)

TERRA ;; I loved Terra from the moment she joined the Titans. I never thought she could turn on them, and I never thought she'd be as important as she turned out to be. I thought she'd be just another side character. Just another reserve Titan. But she was soo much more. I loved the way she earned Raven's trust. I loved the way Starfire fell in love with her straight away. The way Cy and Rob liked her. And the way BB found his one true love. I mean, can you imagine someone who could BB to leave any other girl in the world for her? The way he chases after her at her school in the last episode? That was so sad. It reminded me of what happened to Rose in American Dragon :: Jake Long. Girl turns evil but is still good and then loses her memories? And the whole school scene was so weird though. I never entirely understood that part :P Though, it was still cool. And Terra was amazing. She was so innocent seeming and cute. You just wanted to help her out.

KiD FLASH && JiNX ;; THE CUTEST COUPLE. I love them. The way they fell in love. The way KF kept going after her. The way she gave up her idol for him. The way they show up in that very last battle together and Jinx's old group is there and staring at her like she's crazy. Everything about their relationship made my heart melt and got me to fall in love with them. I always liked Jinx because I thought she cute and had a cool power. I never thought she'd end up being GOOD in the end, though. And I certainly did not foresee her getting with KF. Haha, love them <3
With the reserve members and everyone together, there were so many Titans, and it was SO awesome when they all fought together at the very end. That last fight against the Brain and his goonies was probably one of my all time favorite scenes. I adored that epic battle.

This was one of my all time favorite shows growing up and I could probably watch these episodes over and over again ;) Great characters, amazing story, wonderful combination.

Young Justice {{Miss Martian}}

I actually didn't like M'gann at first. I thought she was annoying and an unnecessary character. But, over time she's grown on me :P
Now I can't imagine an episode without her. And I find her and Conner being together to actually be rather adorable (: I find their relationship to be that cute superhero one. Though, starting the Mount Justice scene with them kissingin Homefront? A tad bit too much, don't ya thinkk? I mean, I love them, but seriously?
And her relationship with Kaldur is so cute. It's like the little sister//big brother relationship and I love that.
And I love her "Hello Megan" thing eve though I found it to be the most annoying part of the whole show in the beginning :P Yeahh, she's definitely rubbing off on me ;D
I also adore how Kid Flash is STiLL going after her even though she and Conner are pretty official. In fact, they were kissing with KF in the same room :P But, like how in Alpha Male KF runs to save her from the gorilla man? I thought that was cute.
I don't know how I feel about KF getting with Artemis instead, but I can see it happening.
Anyways, M'gann is cute. Lovable.

Young Justice {{Kaldur'ahm}}

So, this post is dedicated to Aqualad of Young Justice. He is such a truly amazing leader for the team. He cares about everyone, knows who is best at what and where to place them. And he knows how to handle them. Even though the entire team got made at him in Alpha male for not telling them he knew about there being a mole on the team, like Robin said, it's totally understandable. Since he wasn't entirely sure and the information didn't even come from a relaiable source, OF COURSE he wasn't about to place his team in such a contentious positon where everyone is suspecting everyone else. Though, as a side note, I totally thought Artemis was going to be the mole. I was so onehundred percent certain that when Red Tornado dissapeared I totally didn't even believe it. But, I digress from the top of Aqualad :P
He handles every situation so wonderfully. And when he has homesickness an wants to be with Tula, I truly felt so bad for him. He goes back to tell her he's going to leave Young Justice for her just to find she's now dating his best friend, Garth. But it made him stronger and see sense in how he needed to be full tim on the topic of Young Justice and needed to stop thinking about Tula and Atlantis and all.
Okay, and then in the Red Arrow//Cheshire episode when Red Arrow turns to Aqualad in the end? I thought that was amazing. OF COURSE it was kaldur who he turns to. Kaldur is the one you can trust to not tell anyone you needed help, but also trust to actually show up to give you help.
And his eel tatoos? I think those are just the coolest things in the world ;)
They make him look so dang cute ;D
Anyways, yeah, cool guys. Totally amazing. Great friend, always there.
Love this guyy.
And this is a really short post, isn't it?
Oh well, I'm bored now and have school tomorrow...So, fare thee well.

Night Raid 1931

So, I started watching this over the weekend and finished it in two days, which made me quite proud, despite the fact that there are only sixteen episodes :P
I thought it was really good, and was able to keep my attention through all the episodes (excpet for that one filler episode where it was all history and the Sakurai team wasn't even mentioned xP)
The character developement I thought was at times rather confusing because there would be sudden flashbacks and Yukina's were often terribly confusing [like the episode with the opium den? I was confused crazy in that one].
But the unorganization made it even more powerful. I loved moving back and forth, even if I was left confused more often than I would have liked :P

I thought the characters were really strong. Even though it was a short series, the character developement was pretty awesome. Seeng their pasts and how those pasts tied in with the present was really amazing.

Take Aoi for example. Would have ever guessed that someone as important as the Prophtess could actually have been the violin playing dead girlfriend you get flashbacks of? I never would have thought she was alive and would come into the storyline with such a strong role. I really fell in love with Aoi. He was so strong and confident and optimistic. He was that amazing friend you wish you had, or that wonderful older brother. And he was a cutie. I loved him <3 And his power was shya-mazing. Even though it was simple telekinesis, he made it look way better than Jean Grey ever did ;) And the time thing, though it confundled me at first, was actually really cool. And Aoi was totally on top of it. Always ready to use his power, yet always knowing how much he could use and still have enough left over when he really needed it. Like the first fight with Kuse when he places the bombs in the department stores? At the end when Yukina drops the pen and Aoi actually did have some time left? That made him so cool because he completely owned Kuse at his own game.

And then there was Kazura. I COMPLETELY fell for him. His idealistic view of how the world should be and how he HAD to be the one to fix everything? It rather reminded me of my anime hubbie, Suzaku Kururugi. I couldn't hep falling in love with him ;] Even though he did make mistakes [like, for example, being FOOLED by Isao] in the end he was still part of the team and realzied they were the ones who cared about him and who he cared about. Isao wans't ever cool enough for Kazura anyways. Another thing I love about kazura was the way he wouldn't use his powers because he never wanted to feel superior to his oppnents and though that a battle won with his power was not a fair and just fight. I loved that sense of justice and fairness and all about him. Just kept reminding me of Suzaku. And I mean, Suzaku also went over to the bad side thinking it was the right path, right? So I saw nothing wrong with Kazura being momentarily tricked into going to the wrong side. He came back in theend, so what does it matter?

Let's see, let's look at Natsume next. Natsume was that big kind and awesome guy every show needs. He was nice and caring and like a father to the team. He was the big brother Yukina needed and the assurance of friendship Kazura and Aoi needed. He was always there and probably often taken for granted. Not until his death did you realize just how important he was to the team in manner of his powers, as well as his presence. When he gives Kazura the notebook during the fire it shows Kazura not only that he needed to stop thinking about the past but also that Natsume was the one who cared enough to keep the notebook, not Isao, and definitely not Sakurai. And Natsume's power and how he loves the new moon nights because his power doesn't work? That was adorable. Though, I couldn't help noticing that it was the ngiht of the new moon in just about every single episode :P And then Natsume's past with his little sister? And when Yukina goes back to see his family in the epilogue? That was sooo shweet! I could totally see them as being Natsume's family, with him being that wonder son and that amazing and kind-hearted older brother.

And last for the team we have Yukina. She was kind and nice and all. And her power was so totally cool. Reading minds is lways pretty awesome. Though, I never really understoo the thing with the flowers. Did the flowers help her or what? That never did quite make sense and it was never explained, so I sat there quite confused and just went with it :P I thouht it was so sad how she had gone all that way to find her brother only find he was to be their main enemy and was to cause them so much grief. But in the end she did get through to him and he shielded her from sakurai's bullet, which was ADORABLE. He made up all his wrongs in that one move because in the end he died with honor, shielding his little sister. Yukina was the only girl on the team and that made her all the stronger. Being that strong-minded woman in the middle of all the men had to be difficult, but she kept her mind straight, ignored Aoi's flirtatious remarks and was even able to lead the team since she was the one speaking in their heads.

Isao Takachiho. Now, this guy was rather interesting. You think he's just going to be a side characte as Yukina's older brother. But he turns out to be the main antagonist, and the sole reason the team was created by sakurai in the first place. And Isao has that youthful rebellious nature that makes you think he's right and that you should follow. Little did people like Kuse know, he really just wanted to kill a bunch of people so no one else could. I never saw the logic behind that, Let's destroy Shanghai to stop anyone else from using the bomb. Whatever, dude. You just wanted to kill everyone, so just say that :P And then the thing with him kidnapping Aoi and Kazura? Like, dude, leave the team alone, they hate you [even if Kazura did fall for it...]. And he also appraoched Yukina, so it serves the question, why did he never both with Natsume? Was it because natsume was with his sister nd he wanted him there? Was it because Natsume used to be their servant or whatever and Isao didn't see him as worthy of his cause or something? Whatever the reason, Natsume was safe from Isao :P I thought it rather dissapointing that Isao didn't get any last words. His death was like a second. What nonsense?? Main dude dies and he doesn't even get to say good-bye to his little sister?

Okay, so then we have Sakurai, who seems to end up being the REAL bad guy. Not only did he make the team to find Isao, but once Isao was found, he just turned on them. I mean, the reason for the team was to emply them to Isao, right? So why just leave them hanging and go join up with Isao yourself? And why build Isao up as the enemy when the real intention was to join him the whole time? Sakurai never made sense to me. I never liked him from the beginning, and in the end he just disgusted me. He reminded me a bit of the Gold Toothed Doctor from FMA :: Brotherhood, you know? At the end where he looks all crazy with his gun? Yeah, the guy was a nutcase and I was so glad Ichishi erased his memories.

Which brings us to Ichishi. This guys had maybe five words in the entire show and they were all in the very last episode :P Ichishi was simply too cool for everyone. I mean, could Sakurai have guessed that his assisstant wasn't even actually on his side? And did Kazura and Aoi know Ichishi was always watching them, as shown in the cat episode? He was just way too cool for everyone. He was on his own level. And he did everything so silently, without need to be told or of thanks. Like when he wiped the little girl's memory of her time with Aoi? And Shizune's entire memory? He's just there to help, never to be thanked. Ooh, he was just way too cool. I liked him from the beginning ;]

The epilogue I thought was rather disspointing because Aoi, Kazura, and Yukina have that bonding moment in the zoo and then Kazura and Aoi both head off and Yukina is left alone again. I feel so bad for her because she spends so much time looking for the two of them and when she finally finds them, they're both like, nahh, we don't actually care about you. And plus, I had alays wanted Yukina and Aoi tog et together, so Shuizune being there, with her memory wiped [so she wans't even cool anymore] was toally bonkers to me. And the thing with Aoi? How he gets away from the plane crash BEFORE Kazura gets there, andyet was way too injured to even leave China for MONTHS. Like, what nonsense? Kazura so got to the plane crash before the meddling farmer did! They shoulda just had Aoi be there. The lame thing with him showing up six years later? And the six year thing was dumbb, in my opinion. I mean, why in this world does it take Yukina six crazy years to get to Natsume's family's home? OH, that reminds me, remember how when Yukina wsa leaving Natsume's home she sees the girls on the street and the one was the girl from the opium den? WHAT NONSENSE. Her dad finally gtes her out of there and now she's just going BACK? That bugged me to no end. Like, why could NO ONE have a happy ending in this show? The only person who got what they wanted was Aoi :P And I was glad for him, but I still thought he shoulda been with Yukina ;)

All in all, I thought it was a pretty darned good show. The idea was really good. I just wish there had been less history explanations and more Sakurai Team screen time. That woulda made the show a ton lot better.
But still, they did good and entertained my boring weekend, so I can only give it praise ;]
