YJ :: Invasion ;; Salvage

Am I the only one who feels as though every episode blows the previous one away in intensity and insanity? It's like every episode just makes the show better and better. I loved this episode to no end because we got to find out where the remaining missing characters had gone, as well as how their love lives ended up working out (:

I can't believe how far down Red Arrow managed to sink in the past five years. I mean, I thought Kaldur being evil was bad, but at least he was good at it! Red over here is tripping over things, unable to shoot or fight correctly... I mean, this guy was the top of the line, he was the best at everything, and now here he is, unable to take care of himself. I loved when Black Canary attacked him to open his eyes and show him just how wrong he is about himself. I loved when she grabbed him right at the end there before he fell. I love that woman to no end.

I loved how all these people came together for him. Because they all cared so much about him. I mean, Green arrow had to be there because he was the mentor. And Canary because she's just such a sweetie and always there for everyone <3 I loved that Guardian came to tell him about how he knew what it was like to be a clone and to want to find your original. And then Nightwing because he's known Roy since forever. And then Wally. What made Wally's being there even more poignant is the fact that apparently Wally has left the hero business. So he actually came in this night just for Red. I mean, if all that doesn't tell you you have people who care about you, I don't know what does.

Though I'm quite certain he's going to HAVE to reform himself now. I mean, he's a father! He hasn't even got a choice in the matter anymore! I love the fact that he and Jade actually went and got married! I so called it! I couldn't wait for the pair of them to get together! And the fact that he said she left him and went back to crime means that she had, even if just for a little while, left the life of a criminal. And now she has a daughter, so she has to fix herself up as well. Though, I almost feel bad for Lian because it seems like she might end up having to grow up in the same environment that Jade and Artemis grew up in, with the crime world being right outside their door.

I just want to say that La'gann and M'gann need to stop being so close and mushy in front of Conner. It's like Conner just stares at her angrily, and she doesn't even acknowledge his presence. I don't get if she's just being that way to be vengeful toward him for breaking up with her, or if she's actually just that oblivious to his feelings. And I seriously don't get why La'gann doesn't do anything about it. I mean, he has to be able to see Conner, right? Does he seriously WANT Conner as an enemy? I just don't understand... I loved Gar's little one-man-classroom in the background there, haha. It's like the entire population of Happy Harbor High lives or works in Mount Justice...Like, what even? xD

I loved how Superboy just dragged Blue Beetle out with him, just to show to M'gann that he could do his own thing, too, haha. I thought the pair of them actually made a pretty good team. I loved how Blue finally told Conner why he's always talking to himself. At least someone now knows that Blue isn't completely crazy and talking to himself, haha. One of my favorite parts in this episode had to be when Conner was all, "Don't you freshmen ever do your homework?" I absolutely loved how he called the new members of the Team freshmen, because now he's a senior on the Team :'D And when Conner started telling Blue the story about the Apellaxians, I was just like, wowza, Dick has definitely rubbed off on you in the past five year, Conner, because I'm pretty sure you never used to do your homework, either ;)

On the topic of Wally and Artemis? I am BEYOND excited about their still being together! They're like the only couple from the first season (apart from Red and Chesh, I suppose) that survived together through the time skip. I love the fact that the pair of them are living together! And they're in the same school (college now, right?) since they're taking the same classes! I don't really like the fact that Wally isn't on the Team anymore [and that probably means that Artemis isn't either]. But I do like the fact that they would have left the life of heroes just to be together. I find that really cute. I love how both sisters {Artemis and Jade} left their lives for the men of their lives. Though, Jade's home doesn't look very nice... Haha, at least Wally and Artemis are doing well, with whatever jobs they've taken on. I love them to no end...<3

YJ :: Invasion ;; Alienated

This episode made my head twirl with everything totally and extremely insane that happened in it! I mean, I would feel much better right now not knowing where Kaldur was than knowing what happened to him. At least I can still imagine that Red Arrow, Artemis, and KF are somewhere on a secret mission... And I'm going to keep thinking Kaldur is undercover until the moment when he does something to prove me completely wrong. I will not accept what they have done to him.

I still can't believe what M'gann is dong to the Kroloteans! She's completely mind sucking them and ruining them! I mean, what kind of teenage super hero does something like that without caring one bit? And why was Superboy the only one looking at her with disgust? I mean, should J'onn and Bats have been worried about what she did to that thing? What if she turns and decides to do it to people? Conner's going to be able to say I-told-you-so if that ever happens!

I seriously fell in love with the four of these people being together and working together and fighting together and just about doing anything together. Forget the other mentor//apprentice teams in this episode, this team was the only one that even remotely mattered! They were so dang amazing and cooperative and everything together! Nightwing was all, number seven and Batgirl just hops on it and knows exactly what he's talking about. The four of these people could have taken down the entire building on their own if they wanted to. I love Batman for proving that he can be a hero without the use of mega-super-powers. And that he can train other people to do the same thing. I love the Bats.

Wonder Woman and Wondergirl made a seriously hilarious team! You'd think someone training under Wonder Woman wouldn't even have a chance at cracking jokes because Diana is always so dang seirous about everything. But you would be wrong, haha. I loved when Wonder Woman was all "A little less fangirl and a little more Wondergirl." That made me laugh to no end. But, I mean, the girl is fully capable of handling enemies, so I guess it's fine if she gets impressed by her teacher's abilities every now and then. And I mean, Diana is pretty impressive, so it make perfect sense, haha.

I loved when Superboy and Superman were fighting together! You can tell that since their coming to an understanding five years ago after the Savage incident, they've spent a lot of time together, talking and fighting. You can tell they've mended their relationship and are terribly extremely close now. Guess Bats was right all along. All Conner needed was a father figure to stop his rage-filled-ness. He's totally epic now, haha

Now, this pair of mentor and apprentice bugged me to no end. I mean, this episode was reminding me of the very first one when Batman, Flash, Aquaman, and Green Arrow went out ice-villain-fighting with Rob, KF, Kaldur, and Red. But now instead of KF and Flash there was Diana and Cassie. And instead of Robin there's the entire Bats Battalion. And instead of Kaldur there's...La'gann. As you can probably tell, I'm starting to like this guy less and less. It seems to me he can't do anything right. And when he calls M'gann 'angelfish'? *shudder*

I am beyond horrified with what they did to me beloved green eyed beauty. Kaldur was the single most (well, other than KF and Rob...) amazing guy on the Team throughout the entire course of season one. And now suddenly (well, I guess not suddenly since it's been five years...) he decides to join Black Manta against his best friends? There's no way the Kaldur I knew would ever do something like that! Though, while watching it, I kept getting the feeling he didn't exactly entirely want to do what he was doing. He told them about the bomb because he wanted them to get away, not because he was maliciously giving them the choice of saving themselves or catching him. He still cares about them because that was in his nature. He always cared so much about his friends. I simply can't believe that he would completely renounce them over something like a girl. (well, not just a girl. The love of his life). And she did die... I really wish we could have seen Aquagirl on the Team! That woulda been totally awesome! Anyways, I think later on Bats will be all, yeah, I sent Kaldur in on a secret mission. I really hope that happens. That would be the best. It would make my life so much happier if I knew that...

YJ :: Invasion ;; Earthlings

Honestly, I wasn't expecting a reason behind Conner and M'gann's issues so soon. I mean, I'm happy, don't get me wrong. I was dying not knowing what happened. But, it just seemed so sudden. I liked this episode because it showed that M'gann and Conner still have a chance of getting back together. And who doesn't love Beast Boy?

I thought Dr. Strange and Alanna were seriously the cutest thing ever. I mean, the two can't even speak the same language, and yet they found a way to fall in love with each other. I thought their relationship was so dang sweet and honest and cute. I mean, who doesn't love this kind of passion? I thought it was so cute when they could finally speak the same language and finally talk to each other!

Beast Boy has got to be one of the cutest people I've seen in a while. He is just such a little sweetheart! I absolutely fell in love with him for trying to get Conner and M'gann back together! I mean, that simply had to be one of the sweetest things any cute little boy could do. I love his innocence and his want to help everyone out. I think it makes him so dynamic and amazing <3 I was just kinda sad when M'gann got the little souvenir for him because it reminded me of Kid Flash and how he, along with Artemis and Red Arrow, are still MiA. I mean, when are my favorite people going to come back? Though after seeing the new episode and the way they brought Kaldur back, maybe I actually don't want them to come back any time soon...

This scene was simply touching. I love that he trusts her so much. I love that he calls her 'sis'. What I wonder, though, is why Queen Bee would want to kill his mother. I mean, she wasn't really that important, was she? I get that it would probably have been a good way to hurt M'gann since M'gann basically idolized her, but still. That just seems a little low for someone as high and mighty as Queen Bee. Well, I guess we'll just have to find out, now won't we?

The Zeta Team. I loved how M'gann and Conner had to go in without their symbols on their chests. They almost looked...incomplete without their insignia. I mean, Conner just looked like...any old kid. Obviously you can never mistake M'gann for anyone else with her green skin and whatnot. But yeah, it just felt really strange for some reason.

I love that we finally know why M'gann and Conner aren't together anymore, I'm just really depressed at the fact that it was something like...that... I mean, okay, M'gann has always been really obsessed with the way she looks because of all her white Martian issues, but come on. He can't help that he's never going to change appearance, it's not like he chose to be that way! You could deal with his looking like that seeing as how he dealt with your ugly white Martian face for months and didn't even bother telling you he knew! He knew and he still stuck with you because something like that didn't hardly matter to him! Conner is such a sweetie. The way he was talking about her, you could tell he still loves her. And when he was all, La'gann takes good care of her and she's happy so it's okay, I was dying. I mean, how can you have someone that amazing and let him go over something that trivial? My goodness, Conner, you are just too amazing for everyone...<3

I can't even begin to imagine how totally awkward this mission must have been for the pair of them, with their relationship and Gar trying to get them to get back together and everything that was going on... I loved the ending when Conner was holding her. I mean, it just gave me soo much hope about how they still have a chance at getting back together! I mean, they were like the most perfect couple in the entire universe. There's no way they can stay apart for long. They simply have to get back together. They don't even have an option in the matter. It just has to happen.

I don't exactly understand what M'gann did to the poor little Krolotean. It kinda looked like she just sucked his brain out... And then she just takes his little badge thing and hands it to Beast Boy as though nothing happened. I mean, she obviously did something really bad to that poor little thing, and the fact that she had no reaction to what she did just goes to show just how much she's managed to change in the past five years. The M'gann would never have risked hurting anyone, even a little creepy Krol.

YJ :: Invasion ;; Happy New Year's

Okay, so I had extremely mixed feelings on this new episode. I mean, there were some things that I really liked [like some of the new members] and then there were some things I absolutely couldn't stand [like the five year time skip].

One of the things I was really mad about was M'gann being with Lagoon Boy. I mean, what EVEN? Conner and M'gann were such a cute couple! I mean, they were literally a 'thing' since Day One when she walked into Mount Justice and changed the color of her costume to match his shirt! She fell in love with him right then and there. And then she worked so hard to get through his rough shell. And then when Conner told her how he already knew about her appearance thing and was waiting for her, I was like, awhh, that's the cutest thing ever! And then their New Year's kiss was simply adorable. How does something like that fall apart so quickly in only five years? And when Conner walked past them kissing, he was obviously angry. So he obviously wasn't the one to cut things off with her. I just don't understand what could quite possibly have gotten them to break up. They were just too perfect for anything!

First off, let me just say, I love that Rob is now Nightwing. I mean, that just makes him ten times cooler than he ever was before ;D Okay, and then when he tells the new Robin not to die, I was just like, awhh! Because you know he's talking about poor Jason Todd... Though, that means that in the course of only five years, Robin became Nightwing, Batman took on a new Robin, that Robin died, and Batman managed to get a new Robin. I mean, that's a busy five years for the Dark Knight...

I loved seeing Wondergirl and Batgirl fighting side by side! They made one serious butt-kicking team! I really hope Supergirl comes into the show, too. It's be so cool for the three girls of the Trinity to work together! Plus Supergirl and Batgirl make a dang epic duo as well ;D I wonder if the reason they placed M'gann with Lagoon Boy was so that Conner could get with Cassie like he is in the comics... Still, if they had that planned, they shouldn't have led us on for so long. I mean, that's simply CRUSHiNG....

I kinda really like this new Robin. I mean, he did a decent job leading on his first mission. Even if it was only Gamma, haha. I mean, I liked his character. This team for this mission reminded me of the Team in season one when they were first starting out and trying to learn how to work well together. They were cute. I loved Blue Beetle, because Jaime is soo awesome! When he started talking to the alien, I was like, you are too cool! And when he was talking to himself, or to the beetle, I was seriously laughing at him :P Oh, Jaime, why art thou so cuteee? And then Lagoon Boy... I'm pretty sure I would like him a TON lot better if he hadn't gotten between M'gann and Conner. I mean, I don't know that it was his fault, but I'm going to blame him since we don't have anyone else to blame right now :P

I simply don't understand how it is that Nightwing, M'gann, and Conner, three of the oldest, FOUNDiNG members of the Team, are still on Young Justice while Rocket and Zatanna, two of the NEWEST (one of whom was only there for TWO episodes) can be with the Justice League. I mean, what EVEN? I understand that they said they WANTED to be there, but come on. They worked so much harder and for so much longer. They deserve it soo much more! And I was soo annoyed when Rocket and Zatanna were OFFERiNG them the place on the League. Like, seriously? You guys JUST got there, you aren't THAAT superior to them yet, if EVER. And why in this world did M'gann chop off all her hair? Haha, sorry, just had to ask :P

I really love all the new characters! I can already tell they're all going to be extremely epic and totally awesome. I can't wait to get to know them all better. I mean, BB and BB [Beast Boy and Bumble Bee] were two of my favorite characters in Teen Titans, so I can't wait to see how they play themselves out in this show. And then...ahh, Jaime. I love that kid. He's such a little cutie <3 And we'll see if Mal gets any cooler, haha. So far all he's done is stand there and stare at a computer screen :P

Alrighty, now one thing that I absolutely will NOT stand for. The disappearance of Artemis, Aqualad, and Kid Flash. WHAT iS GOiNG ON? Where are these awesome people? My favorite couple and my favorite team leader? I mean, I get that Nightwing has to be leader of the Team now that he's 'ready' and ...well, Nightwing. Nightwing kicks butt. You can't beat him. And then KF and Artemis. They are my all-time favorite couple in this show! I need to know what happened to them! I mean, how can you leave us with their New Year's kiss and then just make them disappear? And Kaldur's kiss with Rocket! He needs to leave Atlantis, or Tula, or wherever he is, and come back to be with her!!

Missing the old team already...<3

Young Justice ;; Auld Acquaintance

Things got seriously crazy and totally insane in this episode!! The first scene with Red Arrow running from the people, I was like, wowza, the LEAGUE. Haha, evil League is so not good for anyone! They can take down the world if they want to ;D

I don't care if he's not the real Roy Harper. We never KNEW the real Roy Harper. The real Roy Harper has been frozen for the past three years. We knew Red Arrow. We (or, rather, Robin, Kaldur, and Wally) GREW UP with Red Arrow. Green Arrow trained Red Arrow. Who knows, maybe the real Roy Harper was a spoiled rich kid bratt. Who cares? Red Arrow was honest, and true, and determined, and honorable, and strong, and AWESOME. Plus, I fell in love with him. The scene where he's pointing the arrow at Kaldur and demands that he tell him something that only the real Kaldur would know, that scene was so cute. Kaldur was all, my best friend is YOU. Red Arrow might have been programmed to get into the League, but we all have to admit he did it the right way. He never tried to get in by cheating or rushing or anything. He proved himself as a HERO over and over and over. Everyone trusted him, even Batman. I just can't believe he was the mole... I never saw that one coming.... But he should be allowed to stay on the League, or at least the Team, because he did prove himself by helping to free the League and being true after the programming wore off.

Vandal Savage was head of the Light this entire time? That's so lame... It shoulda been something cooler... Well, I guess there's no one that's actually more powerful than him, though, now is there? It was nice to finally see all the people from the Light unmasked. Those scenes at the end of the very first episode always bugged me where the people were just these balls of light talking and they made themselves seem like gods or something xD I loved how in Red Arrow's flashback he was all, Yeah, I ran off while he basked in his own success xP

I loved that Savage sent in Canary, because, I mean, who doesn't trust Canary? They could have been suspicious of Bats for calling them kids, but Canary is just too dang awesome for anyone to think she would ever do anything wrong. And they were so surprised by the fact that she attacked them. When Robin threw the gas at her and Rocket enveloped her in that shield, she looked so dang vulnerable as she fell unconscious... I love how she went back in to the Watchtower with the cute and Savage was all, HAH, gotcha. But then it's all, never mind xD

I loved how Red Tornado was all, yeah, I totally beat the system by setting up an entire program in my inorganic brain in the 0.16 seconds I had before the nano-chip took over my body. Yeah, I'm just thaat cool.

I loved how they went off against their own mentors!! Superboy was so dang cool... He and Robin, they were all, wanta double team them since we can't take them one on one? And then Robin just pulls out some Kryptonite he keeps with him... He is such a little Batman-in-training, heheh. And then when Artemis, Aqualad, and KF go off against Green Arrow, Aquaman, and Flash, that was dang awesome too. Kaldur's all, here, let me just open the vent and try to suck them out into space :P

I loved that Artemis and KF are FiNALLY official. I mean, they've come a looong way. I remember when Artemis first joined the Team I was repulsed by the idea of her and KF getting together. And then in Bereft when they lost their memories and Artemis and KF woke up together, I thought that was cute. I started warming up to them. And they actually really seemed to get closer after that, even though KF continued to make attempts at M'gann. I was soo happy when he finally realized M'gann and Conner were a thing. Took him long enough. And now...that last scene with them kissing was simply the best <3 And then Conner and M'gann HAD to kiss, of course. And ROBiN AND ZATANNA. I'd been waiting for that to happen! Poor Barbara, not getting to be a part of this, haha. And when Rocket kissed Kaldur, that was really super cute, too (:

I'm so glad the second season is starting right off. I don't think I would be able to wait to see what happens next ;D Can't wait for the New Year's episode (:

Young Justice ;; Unusual Suspects

I actually really fell in love with this episodes! All those secrets were going to come out and explode eventually. I'm glad they all got to share them together. This might actually be my favorite episode, thus far. I just loved the idea of them finally getting past the whole mole thing and finally trusting each other. Plus there's only one more episode in this first season, so I guess it had to get a good ending in there ;D

I thought Rocket's entrance into the Team was a little too quick right at Red Arrow's departure for the League. Don't get me wrong, I totally loved her and her character and personality, and I love the idea of Kaldur getting someone to love, I just thought there wasn't much transition. And she didn't seem to pick up with the Team the way Zatanna had. I don't know, we'll see how she makes a name for herself. I thought it was cute that her dad got into the League the same day and was all, Guess we've both found teams. That was totally adorable :D

I loved how the acceptance of new members into the League was this big huge televised thing. Because in Unlimited new members came and went however and whenever they wanted and no one ever bothered to let the public know when those changes happened xD

Robin's all, Give me a second as I hack into my super-genius mentor's system and then we'll go chase down some villains xD I love this kid, he's definitely my favorite Team member :D

I loved the moment when Cheshire was all, Alright, fine. You're my sister. I don't want you dead. 'Cause it was like the first moment we get to see that she actually does care about making sure Artemis doesn't get hurt. So Artemis isn't the only the one that ever held back when dealing with her sister <3 I also loved the very last scene with Cheshire when Sportsmaster was in the quicksand and he calls for Cheshire and she's all, Sorry, every girl for herself. And she looked right at Artemis before disappearing into the woods. I can soo see her being the next person to join this already-very-large Team ;D I would be so happy if she did. She and Artemis have been two of my favorites since the they first came into the show :]

The Team works so well together now :D There are never any problems like there were in the first few episodes. Everyone works in harmony. Like when Zatanna came to help Robin out and then they started working together. And when Kid Flash zoomed in to help Artemis with her father and sister.

I honestly did not expect him to be willing to tell the Team his secret. I mean, being the son of Lex Luthor is bad enough. But to also admit that you trusted him enough to take the Shields from him? That had to have been tough for Conner. But at least he finally understood that those things were not good for his health. I mean, he went through, like, three in the course of one day in the previous episode! It was going to start hurting him eventually, and now he won't have to worry about it :]

I'm glad she finally told the Team. It had been burdening her for so long. It must have felt so good for her to finally be able to tell them why she was constantly being called the mole, why everyone thought it would be her. And I loved that Robin pledged himself to her by letting everyone know he had known the entire time. I thought that was totally cute. And she was all happy because finally she could be the good girl without her bad girl past shadowing over her. And now KF is fine with her again, after their little falling out two episodes ago.

And finally, our resident White Martian. I'm really glad she got her stuff out as well. I mean, her thing doesn't seem nearly as bad as Conner and Artemis', considering her's was only a problem of appearance, rather than who her parents and family is. And when Conner was all, I've known since back when and was just waiting for you to tell me, I was like, AWH. That was so extremely adorable. I absolutely loved that.

Sharing their secrets definitely strengthened their bond as a Team. And I think Rocket being there to witness it will help her integrate better. I thought Artemis getting her secret out there was the biggest and most momentous thing. I mean, she's had this thing hanging over her since Day One. Conner and M'gann's problems arose in the last five or so episodes. I mean, come on. Haha, but still, good for them all. I loved when KF was all, "Who's next?" and M'gann is all, "ME." That was pretty funny. I love them as a team. They all work so well together. And I'm glad Artemis and Wally are finally together now that Wally finally sees that M'gann and Conner have basically been a thing since the first day xP

I can't believe Roy was the mole the entire time! He was all, WE NEED TO FiND THE MOLE. And then he dang WAS the mole xD At first I completely freaked out when he placed the nano-bot thing on Bat's neck because I was all, NOO, he can't be evil! I've loved him from the start! And then he comes back and he's all, i WAS THE MOLE? Vandal Savage is EViiiiiL >.< And now he controls the League...o.o

I can't wait for the season finale, I can tell it's going to be VERY good ;D
