YJ :: Invasion ;; Alienated

This episode made my head twirl with everything totally and extremely insane that happened in it! I mean, I would feel much better right now not knowing where Kaldur was than knowing what happened to him. At least I can still imagine that Red Arrow, Artemis, and KF are somewhere on a secret mission... And I'm going to keep thinking Kaldur is undercover until the moment when he does something to prove me completely wrong. I will not accept what they have done to him.

I still can't believe what M'gann is dong to the Kroloteans! She's completely mind sucking them and ruining them! I mean, what kind of teenage super hero does something like that without caring one bit? And why was Superboy the only one looking at her with disgust? I mean, should J'onn and Bats have been worried about what she did to that thing? What if she turns and decides to do it to people? Conner's going to be able to say I-told-you-so if that ever happens!

I seriously fell in love with the four of these people being together and working together and fighting together and just about doing anything together. Forget the other mentor//apprentice teams in this episode, this team was the only one that even remotely mattered! They were so dang amazing and cooperative and everything together! Nightwing was all, number seven and Batgirl just hops on it and knows exactly what he's talking about. The four of these people could have taken down the entire building on their own if they wanted to. I love Batman for proving that he can be a hero without the use of mega-super-powers. And that he can train other people to do the same thing. I love the Bats.

Wonder Woman and Wondergirl made a seriously hilarious team! You'd think someone training under Wonder Woman wouldn't even have a chance at cracking jokes because Diana is always so dang seirous about everything. But you would be wrong, haha. I loved when Wonder Woman was all "A little less fangirl and a little more Wondergirl." That made me laugh to no end. But, I mean, the girl is fully capable of handling enemies, so I guess it's fine if she gets impressed by her teacher's abilities every now and then. And I mean, Diana is pretty impressive, so it make perfect sense, haha.

I loved when Superboy and Superman were fighting together! You can tell that since their coming to an understanding five years ago after the Savage incident, they've spent a lot of time together, talking and fighting. You can tell they've mended their relationship and are terribly extremely close now. Guess Bats was right all along. All Conner needed was a father figure to stop his rage-filled-ness. He's totally epic now, haha

Now, this pair of mentor and apprentice bugged me to no end. I mean, this episode was reminding me of the very first one when Batman, Flash, Aquaman, and Green Arrow went out ice-villain-fighting with Rob, KF, Kaldur, and Red. But now instead of KF and Flash there was Diana and Cassie. And instead of Robin there's the entire Bats Battalion. And instead of Kaldur there's...La'gann. As you can probably tell, I'm starting to like this guy less and less. It seems to me he can't do anything right. And when he calls M'gann 'angelfish'? *shudder*

I am beyond horrified with what they did to me beloved green eyed beauty. Kaldur was the single most (well, other than KF and Rob...) amazing guy on the Team throughout the entire course of season one. And now suddenly (well, I guess not suddenly since it's been five years...) he decides to join Black Manta against his best friends? There's no way the Kaldur I knew would ever do something like that! Though, while watching it, I kept getting the feeling he didn't exactly entirely want to do what he was doing. He told them about the bomb because he wanted them to get away, not because he was maliciously giving them the choice of saving themselves or catching him. He still cares about them because that was in his nature. He always cared so much about his friends. I simply can't believe that he would completely renounce them over something like a girl. (well, not just a girl. The love of his life). And she did die... I really wish we could have seen Aquagirl on the Team! That woulda been totally awesome! Anyways, I think later on Bats will be all, yeah, I sent Kaldur in on a secret mission. I really hope that happens. That would be the best. It would make my life so much happier if I knew that...

YJ :: Invasion ;; Happy New Year's

Okay, so I had extremely mixed feelings on this new episode. I mean, there were some things that I really liked [like some of the new members] and then there were some things I absolutely couldn't stand [like the five year time skip].

One of the things I was really mad about was M'gann being with Lagoon Boy. I mean, what EVEN? Conner and M'gann were such a cute couple! I mean, they were literally a 'thing' since Day One when she walked into Mount Justice and changed the color of her costume to match his shirt! She fell in love with him right then and there. And then she worked so hard to get through his rough shell. And then when Conner told her how he already knew about her appearance thing and was waiting for her, I was like, awhh, that's the cutest thing ever! And then their New Year's kiss was simply adorable. How does something like that fall apart so quickly in only five years? And when Conner walked past them kissing, he was obviously angry. So he obviously wasn't the one to cut things off with her. I just don't understand what could quite possibly have gotten them to break up. They were just too perfect for anything!

First off, let me just say, I love that Rob is now Nightwing. I mean, that just makes him ten times cooler than he ever was before ;D Okay, and then when he tells the new Robin not to die, I was just like, awhh! Because you know he's talking about poor Jason Todd... Though, that means that in the course of only five years, Robin became Nightwing, Batman took on a new Robin, that Robin died, and Batman managed to get a new Robin. I mean, that's a busy five years for the Dark Knight...

I loved seeing Wondergirl and Batgirl fighting side by side! They made one serious butt-kicking team! I really hope Supergirl comes into the show, too. It's be so cool for the three girls of the Trinity to work together! Plus Supergirl and Batgirl make a dang epic duo as well ;D I wonder if the reason they placed M'gann with Lagoon Boy was so that Conner could get with Cassie like he is in the comics... Still, if they had that planned, they shouldn't have led us on for so long. I mean, that's simply CRUSHiNG....

I kinda really like this new Robin. I mean, he did a decent job leading on his first mission. Even if it was only Gamma, haha. I mean, I liked his character. This team for this mission reminded me of the Team in season one when they were first starting out and trying to learn how to work well together. They were cute. I loved Blue Beetle, because Jaime is soo awesome! When he started talking to the alien, I was like, you are too cool! And when he was talking to himself, or to the beetle, I was seriously laughing at him :P Oh, Jaime, why art thou so cuteee? And then Lagoon Boy... I'm pretty sure I would like him a TON lot better if he hadn't gotten between M'gann and Conner. I mean, I don't know that it was his fault, but I'm going to blame him since we don't have anyone else to blame right now :P

I simply don't understand how it is that Nightwing, M'gann, and Conner, three of the oldest, FOUNDiNG members of the Team, are still on Young Justice while Rocket and Zatanna, two of the NEWEST (one of whom was only there for TWO episodes) can be with the Justice League. I mean, what EVEN? I understand that they said they WANTED to be there, but come on. They worked so much harder and for so much longer. They deserve it soo much more! And I was soo annoyed when Rocket and Zatanna were OFFERiNG them the place on the League. Like, seriously? You guys JUST got there, you aren't THAAT superior to them yet, if EVER. And why in this world did M'gann chop off all her hair? Haha, sorry, just had to ask :P

I really love all the new characters! I can already tell they're all going to be extremely epic and totally awesome. I can't wait to get to know them all better. I mean, BB and BB [Beast Boy and Bumble Bee] were two of my favorite characters in Teen Titans, so I can't wait to see how they play themselves out in this show. And then...ahh, Jaime. I love that kid. He's such a little cutie <3 And we'll see if Mal gets any cooler, haha. So far all he's done is stand there and stare at a computer screen :P

Alrighty, now one thing that I absolutely will NOT stand for. The disappearance of Artemis, Aqualad, and Kid Flash. WHAT iS GOiNG ON? Where are these awesome people? My favorite couple and my favorite team leader? I mean, I get that Nightwing has to be leader of the Team now that he's 'ready' and ...well, Nightwing. Nightwing kicks butt. You can't beat him. And then KF and Artemis. They are my all-time favorite couple in this show! I need to know what happened to them! I mean, how can you leave us with their New Year's kiss and then just make them disappear? And Kaldur's kiss with Rocket! He needs to leave Atlantis, or Tula, or wherever he is, and come back to be with her!!

Missing the old team already...<3

Young Justice ;; Auld Acquaintance

Things got seriously crazy and totally insane in this episode!! The first scene with Red Arrow running from the people, I was like, wowza, the LEAGUE. Haha, evil League is so not good for anyone! They can take down the world if they want to ;D

I don't care if he's not the real Roy Harper. We never KNEW the real Roy Harper. The real Roy Harper has been frozen for the past three years. We knew Red Arrow. We (or, rather, Robin, Kaldur, and Wally) GREW UP with Red Arrow. Green Arrow trained Red Arrow. Who knows, maybe the real Roy Harper was a spoiled rich kid bratt. Who cares? Red Arrow was honest, and true, and determined, and honorable, and strong, and AWESOME. Plus, I fell in love with him. The scene where he's pointing the arrow at Kaldur and demands that he tell him something that only the real Kaldur would know, that scene was so cute. Kaldur was all, my best friend is YOU. Red Arrow might have been programmed to get into the League, but we all have to admit he did it the right way. He never tried to get in by cheating or rushing or anything. He proved himself as a HERO over and over and over. Everyone trusted him, even Batman. I just can't believe he was the mole... I never saw that one coming.... But he should be allowed to stay on the League, or at least the Team, because he did prove himself by helping to free the League and being true after the programming wore off.

Vandal Savage was head of the Light this entire time? That's so lame... It shoulda been something cooler... Well, I guess there's no one that's actually more powerful than him, though, now is there? It was nice to finally see all the people from the Light unmasked. Those scenes at the end of the very first episode always bugged me where the people were just these balls of light talking and they made themselves seem like gods or something xD I loved how in Red Arrow's flashback he was all, Yeah, I ran off while he basked in his own success xP

I loved that Savage sent in Canary, because, I mean, who doesn't trust Canary? They could have been suspicious of Bats for calling them kids, but Canary is just too dang awesome for anyone to think she would ever do anything wrong. And they were so surprised by the fact that she attacked them. When Robin threw the gas at her and Rocket enveloped her in that shield, she looked so dang vulnerable as she fell unconscious... I love how she went back in to the Watchtower with the cute and Savage was all, HAH, gotcha. But then it's all, never mind xD

I loved how Red Tornado was all, yeah, I totally beat the system by setting up an entire program in my inorganic brain in the 0.16 seconds I had before the nano-chip took over my body. Yeah, I'm just thaat cool.

I loved how they went off against their own mentors!! Superboy was so dang cool... He and Robin, they were all, wanta double team them since we can't take them one on one? And then Robin just pulls out some Kryptonite he keeps with him... He is such a little Batman-in-training, heheh. And then when Artemis, Aqualad, and KF go off against Green Arrow, Aquaman, and Flash, that was dang awesome too. Kaldur's all, here, let me just open the vent and try to suck them out into space :P

I loved that Artemis and KF are FiNALLY official. I mean, they've come a looong way. I remember when Artemis first joined the Team I was repulsed by the idea of her and KF getting together. And then in Bereft when they lost their memories and Artemis and KF woke up together, I thought that was cute. I started warming up to them. And they actually really seemed to get closer after that, even though KF continued to make attempts at M'gann. I was soo happy when he finally realized M'gann and Conner were a thing. Took him long enough. And now...that last scene with them kissing was simply the best <3 And then Conner and M'gann HAD to kiss, of course. And ROBiN AND ZATANNA. I'd been waiting for that to happen! Poor Barbara, not getting to be a part of this, haha. And when Rocket kissed Kaldur, that was really super cute, too (:

I'm so glad the second season is starting right off. I don't think I would be able to wait to see what happens next ;D Can't wait for the New Year's episode (:

Young Justice ;; Performance

I really loved this episode. Robin was such a little cutie in it, going back to help people from his past. I thought it was totally cute and sweet of him. I loved Haly and his total innocence when Agent Faraday showed up xD Which, by the way, was totally awesome! I love Faraday! He's just so dang awesome, haha.

Robin was such a great acrobat, haha. I loved how M'gann was all, yeah, I've been using my powers all night long xD All of them in their matching outfits were so cute! Their undercover missions are always my favorites (: And Artemis with her hair down was so pretty! Love the pony-tail, but it's just so tight and rigid, and it was nice to see her loose and happy.

He reminds me of Anderson Cooper for some strange reason xD

I loved when Robin was talking to KF because it showed how Wally was the only person he had told about his past. Which actually totally surprised me. I mean, I knew that KF knew who Robin was, I had no idea that Robin had trusted KF with his entire past. I was in love with them <3 They were such total cuties (:

I loved when Robin got sick because it showed that was just as human as anyone else. He always takes so much and never gives up and so I just thought it was nice that he finally had to admit that he wasn't feeling well. When he stopped Conner and told him to take care of M'gann first, and then got ready to run off after the Parasite and Red Arrow and Artemis stopped him, I thought that was so dang sweet. How he had to admit that he needed help and couldn't just go charging after the villain after all.

And then when Red Arrow was all, "Mind, open." and took Artemis' hand. That was so SWEET. I was so dang happy! I was like, OF COURSE there isn't a mole on the team! We've been over this! And when Artemis was all, each one of us would lay down our lives for this mission, I was like, you go girl!! I'm so glad that Red Arrow finally trusts Artemis and can be on the Team happily now instead of having to worry about who the mole could be xD

I thought it was a pretty good episode and can't wait for next week's (:

Young Justice ;; Disordered

I really liked this latest episode of Young Justice.
I'm not a big fa of Connor, but he kept my attention, and I felt bad for him at the end of the episode. He always comes off as raw and uncivilized because of his time in his pod, but in this episode we see he really does have feelings [to be Superman] and he is able to feel bad about someof those feelings [being happy when all of his friends were either dead or traumatized].
I liked his time with the New Genesis people, it showed him how other teams work, how close and inimate they get [becoming Infinity Man].
I thought the whole thing with Sphere being an actually creature for the new Genesians was pretty cool. And I liked that they let Connor keep it. Connor and his pets make me laugh. Wolf an Sqphere...such original names xD
Connor with his pets, KF with his souveniers, and Rob with his words xP
Which reminds me, Wally hasn't gotten a souneier since the gorilla's hat way back when, right? And Robin hasn't made a word pun in the LONGEST time ...
I absolutely ADORED Black Canary as counselor for the team!
She's been one of my favorite DC characters for the longest time, and I was so happy when she became the team's trainer. But we hadn't been seeing much of her lately, nd this episode was full of her and her heping the kids, so I loved it ;D
She was so dang sweett to help everyone out. And I loved that they were all willing to tell her. They all truste her with their secrets, trusted her to help them <3

Artemis with her tough girl approach to everything....<3 I love that Canary wants her to share her secrets with the team. And I love that she knws what those secrets are and Artemis is all 'you can't tell them!' I don't know why, but I loved that scene. I guess because Canary and Arrow are together and she's all, heheh, you aren't really my boyfriend's niece xD

Wally with his denial xD That had to be one of the most hilarious scenes in this episode. She's all, I think you're in denial. And he's all, I'm good with that xP I love Wally, he is the most epic little smart kid out there xP Like, you wouldn't even think he was a super genius when looking at his character xD

Kaldur made me laugh even thoug he didn't mean o. He goes through all of his teammates and lists off why each of them can't be elader in his place. And I mean, he's trying so hard to be sincere, but come on, he's justifying why he should be leader... I love him to death, but seriously...xD He iS the perfect leader for them, though. You know, apart from little ol' Robbie <3

Robin's confession was the cutest of all. He admits he always wanted to be Batmna, yet when the time came to take the ol' Bat's place, he couldn't do it. He was leader, and he led his friends to their deaths. He can't give his all for the mission the way batman can. And that can be a good or bad thing. It means he cares about his teammates. It also means that when the time comes, he'll place their safety above the success o the mission. Good and bad. I love this kid <3

So, I often can't stand M'gann. She's annoying, she's dating Connor [when they SHOULD have brought i a Wondergirl for him], she...igh. I don't even know. Just everything about her bugs me to no end. She's too....sweett xP Haha. Anyways, what I could not, for the life of me, understand, was why she freaked out when Canary pointed out she had turned white. And why did she turn white anyways? And when she noticed it, why didn't she change back? These are the questions that haunt me at night....xD
Connor and Canary at the very end...That was sweett. You can tell Conor's getting the most out of this moher figure, from learning how to get his butt handed to him, to learning how to talkk about his feelings. It was so sweet when she reaches out to put her hand on his knee. Though at first I totally thought she was going to give him a hugg. hat woulda been even cuter. Though, I guess it wouldn't have entirely fit with Canary's mach-woman image, now would it have? ;D
