Warriors ;; Omen of the Stars ;; The Last Hope

I just finished. It took me two days, which for me is a record with school and homework and the fact that I'm a terribly slow reader. I have to say, I was terribly frightened when I got the book yesterday, with this being the end to one of my FAVORiTE childhood book series. This was what got me into reading. This was my life for the longest time. And this was the final chapter in a long line of cats and prophecies.

And let me tell you, it actually didn't disappoint. In fact, I loved it. I couldn't put it down. I had to keep reading, I had to know how the fight ended. And let me tell you, that was the single best end to the fight I could have ever imagined. It was amazing and I loved it.

I don't even know where to start... I want to start at the beginning, but I can't get the ending out of my mind! Okay,, let's start with Flametail. I was so mad at him at first for being so cold to Jayfeather when he was drowning in StarClan! He was such a sweetie when he was alive! I thought Jayfeather's encounter with him would be simple. "Hey, Flametail, will you tell Littlecloud I didn't kill you?" "Of course, Jayfeather!" I thought it would be all merry and wonderful. Haha, NOPE. But at least he came around. I loved how EVERYONE in this story had a destiny to fulfill. For once the Three weren't the only important people. Flametail got his own moment to shine, even if it was after he died.

I loved the moment when the medicine cats reunited. I absolutely LOVED it. Littlecloud <3 They were the best, bringing their leaders together and all.

But we're getting ahead. Let's move back for a moment. Lionblaze! When he allowed Rowanclaw to shred him, just to prove to Cinderheart that he didn't ALWAYS have to win, I thought she'd drop all notions of Cinderpelt and fall into his arms...er, paws? Right away. They were always so perfect for each other. And I loved that she chose warrior over medicine.

I loved when Lionblaze left the nursery at the end and ran to find Cinderheart. I loved what he told her. And I loved that she set Cinderpelt free. I really hope that means Cinderpelt will be in StarClan separate from Cinderheart, because they really are completely different people. But anyways, Lion and Cinder, PERFECT.

And then, Half Moon in the prologue? I love how she wants to defend Jayfeather even though she walked the earth so many many many seasons before him and they were never actually alive at the same time... Their love is so adorable <3

Okay, and then Lionblaze, Jayfeather, and Hollyleaf admitting to the three parents (Brambles, Squirrels, and Leafie) was AMAZiNG. I loved it. [yesh, I loved a lot of things in this book xD]. I loved that brambles and Squirrels finally made up. AND THE END. When he makes her his deputy? My heart basically just melted right then and there. I was sooooo beyond happy for them!!!

And then HOLLYLEAF. The way she saves Ivypool, and then DiES. I was actually sad. I actually felt bad for her. And then Fallen Leaves grieving for her...<3 And CROWFEATHER. Finally forgiving them! That was the best! How he accepted Leafpool! How he chose Lionblaze over Breezepelt. I loved it. Breezepelt was always a loser anyways xD

And then FERNCLOUD. I cried. I cried for my lovely. She was always my FAVORiTE kind, caring, loving, wondermus, amazing, queen. The way she fought for the kits, the way she loved Dustpelt, the way she gave birth to half the Clan. I loved her. She was the sweetest cat in the entire Clan. Ever. Poor Dustpelt...He'll be broken. He loved her so much... She kept him from being a sourpuss.

And then MOUSEFUR. That was so sad! She was the best elder ThunderClan ever had. Though, I like that she gets to be with Longtail now. Poor Purdy will be alone. Though, I get the feeling a lot of cats will be joining him soon. Without Firestar, Sandstorm won't have anything left. Graystripe was looking old through Lionblaze's eyes when they were heading for ShadowClan. And Dustpelt is their age, too. The five of then [Fire, Dust, Gray, Sand, and Raven] were those apprentices we saw at the very beginning. Apart from Purdy those remaining are the oldest in the entire Clan now....<3

And then BRiGHTHEART. She is my all time favorite warrior. Ever. AND SHE HAD MORE KiTS. I was always depressed about how she only ever had one kit (though Whitewing is totally amazing, and joined together my two favorite couples {BrightCloud and FernDust} by taking Birchfall as a mate). THREE KiTS. How dang awesome is that? And in her old age. She rocks my life. And the way she was all, to Ferncloud, I am so fighting by your side! I loved that. Absolutely and whole-heartedly.

Blackstar was so awesome when he killed Redwillow. No other leader would have been so quick and decisive. And it might have seemed as though he did it because he didn't care, but he did it because he DiD. He cared so much about his Clan that he couldn't bear the thought of a traitor. And her certainly couldn't let the traitor live to kill his warriors. I always loved this guy. Blackstar was my all time favorite ShadowClan leader.

Why was Brokenstar the leader of the Dark Forest cats? I always imagine it would be Tigerstar. He was always the one with the agenda. The one with the most evil. The...igh...evil oneee.

I loved when the StarClan cats showed up. That had to be one of my favorite parts. Honeyfern fighting with Poppyfrost, Runningwind there to run messages again. Lionheart and Whitestorm there to fight. Longtail at Mousefur's side.

OH, first, the scene where the medicine cats reunite StarClan. That was AWESOME. The way Jayfeather ran, calling out to everyone, telling them to join the long line. I could see that scene in my head, and it looked totally amazing, especially as the four Clans joined each other.

Mothwing was so awesome. Even though she didn't believe in StarClan, she still played a pivotal role in this book as she helped guide Jayfeather. He got a lot of help from RiverClan in this book, didn't he? Considering how Brambleberry came to him before. Which I thought was rather random. Brambleberry was a sweetie and all, but why her? She never had any connection to Jayfeather before, did she?

I loved how at the beginning Jayfeather was going around checking sick cats and Cinderheart and Leafpool had already beaten him to it. It made me think about how Briarlight was back in the den, ready to sort herbs, and Brightheart was always ready to help treat sick cats. ThunderClan has more medi cats than anywone ever did before xD

Okay, back to the last fight. TiGERHEART. I knew it. I knew it all along. I knew he couldn't be evil. He had to be like Brambleclaw. he had to have seen through his grandfather's lies. I was soo happy and relieved when he admitted it. It made him a thousand times cooler. He is amazing <3

And then FiRESTAR. I died. I'm pretty sure I died right there with him. But, if he had to die, that was the perfect way to go. He killed Tigerstar! He finally completely defeated his age old enemy. I loved how Firestar was the fourth cat. i LOVED that. It made him so awesome. because Fire ALWAYS saves the Clan. He's saved AL the Clans in the course of his nine lives. And even a Tribe or two. Haha, he's the best. When Spottedleaf died, my heart was wrenched. How could they DO that? How could you KiLL Spottedleaf? She was so kind and caring! And when Firestar was all, you were supposed to welcome me, I cried. That was sooo sad!!! I felt so bad for Firestar <3 And Sandstorm... Poor gal, how is she going to live without him? She can't sleep in the warrior's den! She's ALWAYS lived in the leader's den alongside Firestar. I loved them. They were the best couple in the world. I was soo certain she was going to die when Mapleshade attacked her. I was so scared, after losing Hollyleaf and Mousefur, I was sure it was coming. I was so glad when Spottedleaf cam and saved the day. It's just terrible she had to die for it. <3

I love that Firestar killed Tigerstar, and then died on his own. And I loved how the cats that gave him his lives all came back and crowded around his body! Though I think it should have been Cinderpelt, speaking through Cinderheart, who should have said which life each cat gave instead of Jayfeather, considering Cinderpelt was the one that was actually there with him, not Jayfeather.

And then Dovewing's rejection of Tigerheart for Bumblestripe. Not sure exactly how I feel about that. I loved Tigerheart. he was always so sweet and kind and honest. And he admitted he loved her. But there would always be trouble with that relationship. We've seen again and again what happens to forbidden love. And Bumblestripe was sweet on her from the very beginning. He was always so nice and kind to her. Plus he's a son of Graystripe, and I love Graystripe <3

Switched at Birth ;; Episode 22 ;; Venus, Cupid, Folly, and Time

I thought it was really cute how Emmett asked Bay to the prom. He even had me going for a moment there, haha. I was actually JUST warming up to the when the ending of this episode hit... I mean, come on. These people get really angry really fast, heheh.

Daphne's way of asking was cute, but cheesy, heheh. I bet it was so embarrassing for her to have been rejected in front of all those people though... Poor girl. I was trying to figure Wilke out when he said he had a paper, because he had talked about having homework in the previous episode. Considreing he was the one who told Toby to steal test answers, it seemed strange to me that he would ever choose homework over Daph, but we find out there's more to him than what meets the eye. He actually TRiED to get to stay. I thought that was so dang sweet.

I was kind of mad at Johnathon for rejecting Kathryn's attempt at making up. I mean, come on. You were the one acting all suspicious with the Lazar woman, so you should have been happy to accept that your wife was willing to forgive you for telling the woman about the miscarriage...

I'm kind of warming up to Patrick. He is actually trying really hard to work with Regina's whole single mother thing, and I think it's absolutely adorable. I can't believe Angelo decided to show his face right when she was getting serious again...

I really liked him before he just went off and disappeared. He was so sweet to the girls, and he made Regina so happy... But then he just disappeared and everyone was all broken, and then now he decides to suddenly come back and wants to get back in everyone's lives and start where he left off. I feel so bad for Regina because Patrick is so nice and perfect but now the one she has so much history with is back in the picture.

I love how Bay dumps her Angelo issues on Emmett as soon as he shows up. And he, still feeling guilty about sleeping with Simone, just up and takes her to the department. I don't get why Angelo tells her about how he needs money. I get why that puts her in a bad mood. I mean, come on. That was soo not the right thing to say, dude!

I seriously can't believe how close Kathryn was to kissing Craig! I mean, besides the age difference, HYPOCRiTE. She JUST went through this huge fight with her husband, accusing him of seeing someone else, how can she even THiNK about thinking about anyone apart from her husband?

I couldn't believe how Emmett lied straight to Daph's face. I mean, what happened to my angel?? And Daph knew, of course. She and Wilke...<3 I really hope he doesn't go off to boarding school just for her to get with that other deaf kid, what's-his-name. I mean, I get that Daph is being nice to him and all, but the kid really doesn't deserve it. He is rude to EVERYONE. I get he has a bad home life, but STiLL. He could be nice, OCCASiONALLY.

And then when Emmett tells Bay... I actually felt really bad for her. At least when the suspicion was on her for cheating, she actually wasn't. She hadn't told Ty about getting with Emmett, but she wasn't talking to him as though they were still together, at least. Now here, Emmett actually SLEPT with Simone, someone he didn't even know and can't even communicate with... I understand Bay here and am totally on her side in this. I just don't know what's going to happen next. And who's going to tell my lovely Toby? Poor kid, everyone knows about what his girlfriend did with his sister's boyfriend except him.... And he though he could actually trust her since he found out it wasn't her who had tried to get Daph off the team.

That I thought was so sweet, how he refused to go to tournament in defense of his sister!! I was like, you are the very best, Toby, I absolutely love you <3<3<3

Anyways, we'll see where these things take us. Now that Regina has to MARRY Angelo to let him stay. Will she choose her own happiness with Patrick and let Angelo get deported? Or will she choose Bay's happiness, leave Patrick, and marry Angelo so he can stay?

Switched at Birth ;; Episode 21 ;; The Sleep of Reason Produces Monsters

So, I was kind of really mad at the ending of the previous episode with the whole thing with Emmett and Simone. I mean, what even? They both have such cute and adoring significant others (Kennishes make for good girl/boyfriends, don't they?). Toby is my all time favorite guy on the show (after Emmett and totally ruined his angelic-ness). And Bay is just....well, Bay. I don't actually like her because I'm on Daphne's side most of the time, but you have to admit, Bay is just as annoyingly sweet as her mother, Kathryn (yes, another Kennish).

I understood why Daphne felt like she missed out on the life she should have had and all, but why, oh, why, did she have to confront Regina about it? I mean, that was just plain cruel. I often take Daph's side in things because she often loses more than anyone else, but in this case I just couldn't. I found myself getting really mad at her as she basically told her mom that she wished she had grown up with her birth parents because she could have been rich and gotten everything Bay has. That was just rude and cruel and ...terrible, of her to do.

I kind of really liked Kathryn and Regina's little bonding moment. Like they finally had something to relate to. Cheating husbands. And I loved how Regina decided to get on board with the book thing. Kathryn is going to stick Sarah Lazar in a very deep hole, because even if Johnathon told her all the deets in the Kennish side of things, there's no way she would know anything about Regina's side of the story. This is going to be great. And I was glad to hear Johnathon actually wasn't cheating on Kathryn, because they are such a cute little couple that I just wouldn't have been able to stand it if he had.

I loved this episode because of how everyone was all together in the same place for the first time in decades. It was a fun and cute party for Emmett. I bet he loved getting to star in his own movie, that woulda been totally awesome. Though I didn't like how Bay took complete credit for setting everything up even though the idea had basically been Daph's to start with. But, eh, oh well. Daph was too busy thinking about how much she wished she was a Kennish. Maybe then Wilke wouldn't be leaving. (oops, that's the next episode ;D)

Scenes like this make me forget about how much I really don't like Bay and Em being together. It always takes me a moment to get back to not liking her because of how cute a couple they are...Dang you, Em and Bay! Haha.

I almost felt bad for Em and Simone... But then again, it WAS their own fault. I loved how Wilke was the one to find out. When we first met him, he seemed like the guy that would have waved that phone around and announced what he had just discovered and ruined everyone's lives. The guy that didn't care. But we're learning that that isn't him, now aren't we? Not only did he confront Simone in private, but he defended Toby because they're best friends. That just struck me hard. The fact that Wilke actually cared about Toby. I love that kid so much. I really really don't want him to leave...

Okay, and then at the end when Daph and Regina make up? And Daph is all, let's make some memories of our own? WHAT EVEN? You two already have memories! You've been making them your entire life! She was just so plain rude to her mother that it really bugged me to no end....

Anyways, next up, the FiNALE.
And things get crazyyyy.

Thundercats :: Episode 14 ;; New Alliances

I am so glad this show is back on. After ending with Cheetara's decision, I needed to know what happened next. How their relationship would go and how Lion-O would react. And wowza, he is rage-filled, now isn't he?

Kit and Kat are such cuties. I loved how they brought the lizards into the ambush at the very beginning of the episodes. And I love how Lion-O and the others just let them help out with these dangerous missions. As though it doesn't matter that they're just little kittens. (:

And Panthro. I had no idea what was going to happen to him after he lost his arms. I'm glad this world has Berbils to fix everything, heheh. I kind of think the extending-ness of the arms is rather lame, though. I mean, it looks like he's Plastic Man or something, and that's just lame. But oh well, at least he has arms now, that's always a positive. I love Panthro. He's such a cutie.

I'm so glad they brought in these new generals. They were sorely needed. I mean, sorry, but those lizards were just lame and totally cowardly. Plus they lost every single fight and looked ugly. Maybe this monkey and jackal can forge the teas together to actually be kinda cool... And Mum-Ra is pretty lame, too. I mean, he's just this dummy mummy that sits in his lair all day long having lizards do his dirty work for him. How much weaker and lamer could you get?

Lion-O was a total jerk to Cheetara about what she chose. I was really happy that he allowed Tygra at least to believe that he was happy for them. That was really sweet f him. I honestly didn't think he was capable of it, though. And I was so happy when Cheetara told Lion-O that she had only been rooting for him and watching him because Jaga had told her to. I was all, wowza, slap in your face, Lion-O! Haha.

They are total cuties! I can't get over how happy I am that they're together now. And that she can finally be open with who she chose and who she loves. I absolutely LOVED when Tygra got captured and she dropped her staff and told Lion-O that she had to stick with him. My heart melted for them. They are just such adorable cuties!!! I kind of didn't like how she's neglecting her watching-of-Lion-O, though. I mean, just because you told him you were only there to watch him doesn't mean you can stop looking out for him, you know?

But it was still a totally fine episode. I love Tyrgra.... I didn't like how he was the first to get captured. It should have been Lion-O for being a total jerk to Cheetara... I love these brothers, though. I can't get over how Lion-O suppressed his anger to make Tygra think he was happy for them....<3

Young Justice ;; Agendas

I kind of really liked this episode even though we only saw one member of the Team. Seeing the League and their secret meetings was totally worth having another episode just about Conner. He's a cutie, so it was totally okay by me.

I loved how Wonder Woman was all, we need more female members and Dinah and Shayera were just all, aye aye. That was hilarious. Also, I've never considered the members of the League in this show until now since they were all together in this episode. It's kind of interesting to have both Hawkgirl and Hawkman as well as two Lanterns all on one team. And I find it interesting that Captain Atom is there, but Atom isn't... I don't know, Atom just seems more of a League member to me than Captain, Atom, you know? But anyways, it's a nice assortment of heroes they have there. And I would totally love to find out who they decided to induct into the League.

I loved how Wolf went with Superboy and fought and helped him and all. I thought that was totally cute. Okay, so, the clone having a clone? That seems a tad bit much, no? I mean, I get that they had to introduce Lex being his human DNA donor SOME way, but still, with another Conner? I don't like to think about Luthor caring more about Conner than Clark, but dang. Clark really needs to get on the whole taking care of his clone//son, otherwise Luthor is totally going to beat him to it!

I loved how the League started talking about Captain Marvel when he was sitting right there :P That was just to good... Haha, they're all like, he's only ten.... Poor kid....

Okay, and then WHAT EVEN? Is this show putting Wonder Woman with Superman instead of Batman? I mean, you can't DO that! Why is she holding Clark's hand and getting mad at Bruce? This is so dang WRONG... Clark has Lois Lane and Bruce has Diana. That's how the world works. We should not try to tamper with the natural order of things.

I thought it was a pretty good episode, though I kind of wish we had seen more of the rest of the Team. And dealt a bit more with M'gann's identity issues....Hahaha. Anyways, good episode, can't wait for next week's.

Star Wars :: Clone Wars ;; Episode 19 ~ Massacre~

Okay, so I mentioned in the previous post on Clone Wars about how there haven't been very many dry spots in this season. Looks like they just felt the need to prove me wrong. I mean, seriously? No mention of a single Jedi, ALL Dooku//Grievous//Ventress//Night Sisters nonsense? And now the last few episodes are going to be about them and the monster Ventress created? I mean, I was all for them and Ventress in the previous season, but this is just too much. She's not thaat cool.

Though, I was all for the new costume! I never liked the skirt thing she wore as a Jedi. She's way cooler as a Night Sister. It's just too bad that ALL the Night Sisters are dead now... Come on, Dooku, was that really necessary? They were all pretty dang cool.

Was I the only one who thought the dead Sisters were a tad bit too creepy? Considering this is a kid's show, after all. I mean, seriously? That would totally have freaked my little brother out. Plus they were useless and didn't even turn the tide of the fighting, so why were they necessary?

And then Dooku's little boil thing? I've got to say, that was rather lame. With a voodoo doll like that couldn't you do a tad bit better than that? And then Mother and her mother die so easily? This was just a terribly done and poorly thought through episode. We need to go back to Anni and his relationship to Palpie. Because that's the only interesting thing going on right now. I mean, would they actually turn Anni evil in this show? Or will they just end it after this season and not have to deal with Darth Vader and Ahsoka's reaction and relationship to and with him?

Switched at Birth :: Episode 17 ~ Protect Me From What I Want

I don't think it's quite possible for me to dislike a character in a TV show the way I dislike Bay Kennish. She simply ruins everything, doesn't she? I mean, Regina got that curator to look at yourself, shouldn't that have been enough? But no, you expected him to turn you into a millionaire right away. I mean, you already are a bajillionaire, so I don't get why you can't be a tad bit more patient. And what even with getting MAD AT Regina? Why are you blaming and saying she felt the same way as him? She never said that! I was so mad at her when she walked out on Regina looking at her as though she had just ruined her life. That was complete rubbish. I didn't understand it one bit. Bay's a weirdo. That's all I can say.

Emmett doing the family portrait was so cute. I feel so bad for him with everything that's going on in his life. I wish he would tell us what exactly that was, though. He said his dad and the girl were supposed all uncaring and cool and whatever, so what's going on? Maybe he's just missing his mom, as evidenced by the text at the end of the episode. I really hope he goes back to live with her. Melody was a totally awesome mother, and totally cool, I thought. And I felt soo bad for her when he left her.

The thing with Em and Bay at the end really bugged me because I finally thought we were getting to the end of this relationship. I seriously thought they might bring Ty back in and then she could be with him and Em could get together with Daph. But the preview for the next episode showed Wilkie, so maybe Daph still has a chance with him... I sure hope so (: But seriously, Bay and Emmett need to breakk up because he deserves WAY better than her. And she's an ungrateful bratt. I though she deserved part of what her grandmother did and said in the previous episode. She finally got to feel what life was like for Daph right now.

And then Regina and the curator guy? I can't remember his name. I seriously hope they get together! That would be so cute! But then Angelo called at the end of the episode, and I really liked her with him because he had become such a sweetie, caring about his daughters and helping her out and whatnot. I wonder what's going to happen with him now...

OH, and then Simone! I thought she was actually going to be a cool character! I can't believe how much of a bratty evil rich kid she turned out to be! She was way cooler in Cory in the House xP

And I loved that Adriana came back. The house just wasn't whole without her there. That was a really cute mother//daughter scene. And then the curator wanting to put Regina's work in the gallery? I think that's totally awesome! She deserves it soo way more than Bay ever could! Besides, she gave Bay her talent, so it's only fair ;]

And then Tobie with his music! I thought it was totally awesome of him to have told his father how music was what he wanted to do, not sports. I was all, GO LUCAS. Haha. And him being soo good at Baseball was so epic! He totally showed his father up in that contest thing xD
