Code Geass {{Cornelia li Britannia}}

Cornelia li Britannia.
Highly skilled.
Extremely loyal.
Second princess.

I loved her character. I love strong female characters because I feel like we don't get much of them in shows. Cornelia was not only strong, she was a fighter. She knew how to use that strength to her advantage.

The way the first time we see her is her establishig a new Area is simply genius. It shows us, right off the bat, just how skilled she is in combat, how much foreigners fear her, how much her own men respect her. It shows that her father trusts her enough to have her be the one to go in when setting up a new Area. It shows she knows how to lead men, how to strike fear, and how not to hold back. She truly is an amazing princess, isn't she?

And we know just how much she loves and cares about her siblings because after she hears about Clovis's death, she heads straight for Area 11 and the only thing on her mind is the capture and kill of the masked murderer, Zero. She set herself up in Area 11 and things started getting all organized right away, now didn't they? No one wanted to be on Cornelia's bad side, because unlike Clovis, she was wlling to shoot you down as punishment for disloyalty and disobedience ;) Her love for Euphemia was also a sweet thing. She comes off as a rather Olivier Mira Armstrong-like character. And Olivier didn't care on bit about Alex until he save her life. Euphie probably was never strong enough or skilled enough to be able to save Neli's life. In fact, Neli was often looking out for her. Yet, Cornelia loved her little above all else. Though, this love tended to be a weakness, Neli's only one.

She's so dang regal looking with her royal dress and all. And just look at how those men stand at attention for her ;) No one wants to cross Cornelia li Britannia.

And I absolutely love the way she is among the only four people to have ever been a matc for Lelouch vi Britanna [Schneizel, Li Xingke, && Suzaku]. The way she sets things up in Narita to be like the Shinjouku thing was simply genius. And then how she seems able to outmaneuver him? And the scene where he's in one of the Britannian Knightmare frames and she completely has him cornered? He was freaking out in there, not knowing what to do next. If it weren't for C.C., Neli would soo have caught he infamous Zero on her first try ;)

 I felt so terribly sad for her after dear Euphie's death. That would have been SUCH a blow to Neli. Poor dear, losing herone prized and loved sibling. I mean, none of the others were even worth her time, were they? She was so heart-broken...And yet, I applaud her on going to such lengths to find out the truth behind why Euphie did what she did at the end and to clear her dear sister's name.

So, when Lelouch nearly kills Neli and uses his Geass o her to get her information, I seriousl thought she died here. because we don't see anything of her again until she makes her little comeback in the second season. So I was really sad here because I thought we were losing another reall strong character. So I was glad when she came back ;) Anyways, I loved how she let go of her hatred of non-pure-Britannians [the same way Viletta and Orange-kun had to] and allowed herself to trust Suzaku, as well as make him an official knight. That was just amazing. Though, Neli's trust in im, as well as his experiences with Euphie, were probably the driving forces behind why Suzaku helped Emperor Charles. because I highly doubt he would have even considered becoming a Knight of the Round before meeting Euphie because of the fact that it was Charles who destroyed Japan and took Nunnally and Lelouch away from him.

Speaking of her come back ;) My favorite part about her return in season two was definitely her new hairstyle ;D I loed the looser and free-er style. It mirrored her abandonment of the royal throne and her readiness to fight for what she knew was right. I love the way she is still ready to fight for her own right as well as to clear Euphie's name. She finds out all abut the Geass Directorate, though, what she does with the information rather bugs me. Why in the world does she turn to Schneizel? All her brothers are useless to her, hasn't she learned that yet from what happened with Lelou? Though, I guess I can't blame her. She has a strong sence of family trust and love. She cares about her brothers and sisters more than anything else. She would rather die than believe any one of them could do her wrong. Whic is probably why she was so adamant in wanting to know what went wrong with Euphie. And why se was sorely mistaken when dealing with Lelouch and Sneizel. I felt so bad for her, because half of the reason she went to Area 11 in the first place was to take revene for Lelouch and Nunnally's deaths as well. And then she finds out that not only are they not dead, but the older one was the reason Clovis is.

And then she leaves Sneizel. Which brings us to near-death-number-two. Not only does she survive Lelou's attack at the end of season one, but Neli is made of STEEL and she survives beinggunned down by Sneizel as wel ;) I was actually CERTAiN she die there. But, alas, she shows up again in the hospital, reunited with the love o her life, Guilford. And no one bothers to ask what happened to dearest Dalton ;]

I found it so cute how Dalton and Guilford were always ready to lay down their lives for their princess. The three of them were cuties, always working together, and being such a bad-A team together ;)

 At the end when Neli is leaidng the very few people left that were smart enough to have stayed hidden when Lelou came to power I was so rooting her on. Neli, Viletta, Zhou, Guilford, and...Minami? Haha, I don't know why, but he seems so dang RANDOM on being there wih them. I mean, the four others so leading characters that we see a lot of. Neli, for obvious rasons, Viletta for her involvement with Ougi, Zhou for being Li's girlfriend [ ;) ], and Guilford for being Neli's boyfriend. But Minami was just another soldier under Ougi's command like Inoue and Kento and all that we don't see anything of. I don't know, I just found it ratherfunny that he would be on of the liberators in this scene ;]

<<-- Sorry, just HAD to have this picture in here ;D
Don't you just love her as a little teenager?

Cornelia was a truly strong and amazing character. <3

Code Geass :: Lelouch of the Rebellion {{Suzaku}}

So, remember a loong time ago when I made the post for lelouch and said I was going to make more? Well, I DiD in fact plan on making more, just hadn't had the time...
But, now, here it is.
SUZAKU KURURUGi.
So, he's probably, in my opion, undoubtedly, the best character in the entire show.
We can look past the fact that he killed his father, and that he had a short mental breakdown upon finding out that Lelouch was Zero and he had killed Euphemia at the end of R1 at Kaminejima.
But aside from those two *minor* things, he is a wonderful character.
He was as against Lelouch and Nunnally when they first came to Japan as they were to him, but once the ice first melted, he and Lelouch became close friends and forged a bond that could never be broken, not even when one killed the other's girlfriend, or the other tried to kill him for it.
Nope, could never be broken. Because in the end, Suzaku became Lelouch's sword.

Suzaku's Knightmare frame, the Lancelot

Suzaku wanted to change the empire from the inside, and so had become a soldier in the Britannian army. But on one of his first days out, he runs into Lelouch Lamperouge, who he hadn't seen for the past ten years. And his orders are to kill him. Tough luck, right?
But I love Suzaku for standing up and saying no. Even if he did get shot for it.
It leads him to his journey with Lloyd and Cecile and the LANCELOT. Which is one EPiC Knightmare frame, by the way ;]
Once Suzaku get ahold of the Lancelot, there was simply no stopping his onslaught of epicness. The only person who had ever been a match for him was Kallen Kozuki, and she was Lelouch's ace-queen, so it makes sense (;
Now, I'm running short on time, so let's discuss Suzaku different relationships with different people, shall we?
I think we shall ;]
So, let's go...
Suzaku and Nunnally
SUZAKU && NUNNALLY ;; These two are so dang CUTEE!! When Suzaku first comes back to the school and Lelouch takes him to see Nunnally and he and Nunnally touch hands and she's all "Is that...?" That was the cutest thing EVER. And it made me all happy inside. Haha, lame, but it was just THAAT cute ;] I liked how Suzaku became Zero at the end and stayed with Nunnally, wheeling her around and all. I remember in one of the picture dramas, Nunnally shows up at the school with Zero (Suzaku) and they hold hands. I like how she still loves and cares about him and trusts him, even though she would, by then, have realized that it was Suzaku inside the Zero costume when Lelouch was killed.

SUZAKU && EUPHEMiA ;; The cutest couple in the series <3 I love when Euphemia confesses her love to him. And I love how they meet! Euphie just falls right out of that window :P And he catches her, like a white knight in shining armor. They would have been a cute married couple. And I felt bad for Suzaku because he SAW her die at the hands of Zero, and then he's with her at the end... I love how she tells him to go back to school...<3 Her death was SO sad! How Suzaku had to lie to her and tell her the ceremony went great, and how the Geass order came back and she had to fight it to not kill Suzaku...

Suzaku and Euphemia
SUZAKU && LLOYD&CECiLE ;; I think it's awesome how Lloyd just chooses Suzaku to be his Lancelot pilot. Lloyd is so negative and anti-HUMAN, but his words always encourage Suzaku to fight better. And Cecile is just a cutie. I always thought Cecile and Lloyd should have gotten together ;]

SUZAKU && ASHFORD&Co. ;; As in, the Ashford students. I really didn't like Nina's reaction to him. I mean, I got that she was a racist snob, but this new kid comes to your school, and your only reaction is the fact that he's an 'eleven'? Nina always beugged me... But I loved Suzaku tried to be matchmaker with Shirley and Lelouch and was going to call him for her when they were haing trouble <3 And then how Suzaku was who Shirley turned to when she was having mental problems and needed someone to talk to about Lelou's past. Ahh, Suzaku, you rock my world.

Suzaku and Arthur
SUZAKU && ARTHUR ;; Arthur is the cutest cat in the history of cute cats. I love how Suzaku keeps him around even though he obviously doesn't like him. Arthur always bites Suzaku... I find that so cute ;)

SUZAKU && LELOUCH ;; They met when they were young, then they were sperated by the war, then, ten years later, they were reunited. I love how Suzaku took a bullet for Lelouch, and the guy didn't even turn around to find out what happened, he got Geass and he went with it. Whatever. Suzaku always went to such lengths to help Leouch... Like when Nunnally was taken by Mao, he did his little Spinzaku ;] And he totally saved Nunnally, with his expertise in bomb deactivating. (though, I didn't like the scene at the end of that episode where Mao reveals that Suzaku killed Genbu because Suzaku totally freezes up...) And then Suzaku becomes Lelouch's sword, and goes against his own ideals at the end and kills Lelouch. Not only does he kill someone for Lelouch, but he kills his best friend for Lelouch. And then he goes on to stay as the masked hero, Zero, even though the whole world thought he was dead. Yeahh, Suzaku has to continue his hard work, while Lelouch relaxes in a wagon with C.C.... But, who said life was ever fair?

Suzaku in the Lancelot
Well, I think that concludes that, eh?
I love Suzaku <3
